Phase 1 – Listen

It is my job to listen to the client using all my senses, called empathy. This means in real life: see through the eyes of the client, hear with the ears of the client and feel with the heart of the client. That’s what I have been doing for more than 10 years. Listening also means, recognizing and understanding body language, the gestures and the mimics – and comprehend the words my clients are uttering with all my competence.
My way of listening is always appreciating, unbiased and neutral. The eye level and equality are prerequisites doing my job. From this, slowly the mental picture of the client develops, supplemented by his views, his attitudes, his environment, his philosophy and his topics to discuss. From here on we start into the next phase.
